The Importance of FIT in the Interviewing Process

Interviewing is both an assessment of competency for a role as much it is to evaluate “FIT”. In fact, I would argue, based on my experience as a hiring manager AND a candidate, that FIT is MORE IMPORTANT!

Why is this? Well, fit is a measure of many components of a role.

👉 Is the type of role something that fits your desires and needs as a professional?

👉 Does you and the organization share the same values?

👉 Does the hiring manager have the style that suits you to motivate and lead you in the best way?

👉 Is the culture one that you embrace and inspire you to be a part of it?
