My Story

About Rich Bruno Consulting

First, a little bit about WHO I am, WHAT I do, WHO I serve, and HOW I can help you!

Who I am: I always start with the personal side of things…
I am a proud dad of three children, and happily married for almost 27 years!  Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, I’m one of four children.  I now live in New Jersey for the past 20 years.

I am relationship-centered and have a givers mindset. I truly want to have an impact on others’ lives, whether it be professionally or personally.

My philosophy is to give more than you get, live an intentional life of continuous improvement, and embrace challenges as opportunities, not problems.

Two weeks after turning 55, while juggling an amazing Supply Chain leadership career at Johnson & Johnson, in addition to being an active owner / operator of a thriving franchise business, and raising three children, I decided to retire from my Johnson & Johnson career.  Many said I was crazy…but I did it to simplify my life and improve my quality of life!  And I’ve never looked back!  No regrets and a great decision!

I never really “retired”, I just shifted my focus, allowing myself to be fully present with my family, while diving into my franchise business to see how I could add value and improve not only the business’ profitability, but continue to add value to our customers.

About three months after leaving my J&J role, I decided to get certified as a John Maxwell Coach, Speaker and Trainer.  The coaching space is a calling for me, as I genuinely like helping others see their potential and improve their organizations, businesses, and their lives.

My Approach

My Approach: What I Do & Who I Serve

What I do:

I am leveraging my extensive experience as a former Johnson & Johnson executive, where I was focused on talent management and development, coupled with being a seasoned entrepreneur, to offer executive coaching and business consulting services. With a 30-year background in supply chain management, I excel in talent development and team performance optimization. My entrepreneurial journey includes over a decade of success in managing multiple health and fitness franchise locations, complemented by five years in diverse coaching and consulting roles. I consider this “three legs of a stool” – having very diverse experiences in corporate roles, entrepreneurial roles, and consulting experience.

Here’s what surveyed Senior Leaders are saying are their greatest “pain points”:

• Career Development and Talent Management

• Hiring and Staffing support

From my experiences working with business owners, here are some of their “pain points”:

• How to effectively scale their business
• Hiring and staffing
• Lack business and financial acumen
• Lack the necessary communications and leadership skills
• Have difficulty making choices about their products and service offerings
• Don’t set and measure goals and business metrics
• Don’t create a healthy culture in the workplace

If any of the above “pain points” are speaking to you, as a business consultant and executive coach I want to make a difference and help you find a solution. I would love to connect with you on a free 30-minute zoom session to give you actionable next steps. Let’s set up a free session to discuss how this can be addressed.
